Diploma of Yoga Teaching

Premier College's Diploma of Yoga Teaching is a twelve month course designed to further your understanding and knowledge of Yoga. It goes beyond most courses offered elsewhere as it assists you to not only do and teach yoga but to live it.
Yoga is much more than a physical practice, it is a spiritual and mental practice; it is a holistic approach to life.
The Diploma of Yoga Teacher Training provided by the Premier College is designed to provide you with all the tools you needed to be a holistic yoga teacher, approaching yoga always as a student first.
The course is fully recognised by the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia, the governing association of Yoga Teachers in Australia. Upon the successful completion of the course and completing your Senior First Aid Certificate (not included) you are eligible to be a full member of the Yoga Teachers Association of Australia.
Premier College's Diploma of Yoga Teaching comprises of:
- Two modules of Anatomy and Physiology to assist you in developing a solid understating of the human body;
- Eleven teaching workshops covering the different elements of yoga, including asanas, pranayama and meditation as well as yoga nidra, teaching methodology and yoga for special groups;
- Three meditation courses, covering the basics of meditation, kundalini yoga as well as spiritual laws and understandings; and,
- Compulsory weekly yoga classes for a year (though you can attend as many a week as you would like to for no extra charge) to aid you in developing a firm basis for your personal practice.
